Welcome to the Tidewater website.  We are a small kennel, breeding a limited number of selective litters.  We strive for multipurpose dogs with excellent temperament and good looks that are easy to live with. We had much success with this formula, as our dogs have achieved some of the highest level awards available both in Canada and the U.S. and still are fun and happy house dogs.

This is also the home of Mark Edwards Retriever Training.  Mark translates his success in training hunting and hunt test dogs to helping handlers train their own dogs.  His philosophy emphasizes teaching and reinforcing concepts, building confidence and that the dog and handler have fun.  Our goal is to help people improve both their handling and training skills.  The result will be an improvement in your dog’s performance in the field no matter what your goal.
