Teya (and Barbara) and Cowboy (and Nick) achieved their Started Hunting Retriever titles at Lake Ontario's test a few weeks ago in Pontypool.  Teya and Cowboy are Drake "kids" and very nice young dogs. Barbara and Nick have done a great job getting them to this point in their training

Teya and Barbara and David and Brodie passed their WC tests at Mountain Valley. On what was probably the hottest night of the year, both dogs did very well.

Decoy (Tidewater Dirty Decoy), owned by Cindy and Chad in Minnesota got their SHR this weekend. He's a Drake and Destiny son from the February 2008 litter.

Linda Bryerton and Logan and Amy got their American JHs this summer. 

"Leia", Tidewater's Lady of Leisure, passed her HRC started and her WC this summer and she has two points towards her JH, only one more to go.

"After starting classes in October 2008, Jayda (Atkinsday Lucky Jade) has earned her CKC Working Certificate, and passed the only leg of HRC Started that we've attempted so far. We'll finish her Started title next spring/summer, as well as tackle the CKC Junior Hunter program. One of the best side-benefits of training with Tidewaters has been the vast improvement in Jayda's obedience and ability to focus, making her a much more enjoyable dog both at home and in the field. We enjoy attending classes not just for the training, but also the supportive group environment and connection with other "newbies".
